On this full-day trip White Villages and Ronda, we will travel through the ancient Andalusian kingdoms of Castile and Granada while revealing scenic nature, history, and tradition.

We will begin our journey by touring the Sevillian countryside. Here we can stop at The Castle of “Las Aguzaderas”, an interesting medieval building located at the old borderline among Catholic kingdom and Moorish kingdom. We will continue our trip through the mountains stopping at the picturesque white village of Zahara de la Sierra.
On the way to Grazalema, we will drive through the Natural Park “Sierra de Grazalema”. You will enjoy a range of amazing landscapes and views over the provinces of Cádiz, Málaga, and Seville, from “Puerto de las Palomas” which is 1357 meters above the sea level. We also get the chance to witness vultures in their natural habitat. These mountains are known for the largest colony of Griffon vultures in Spain. Once we get to Grazalema, there will be time to have a nice meal, surrounded by the picturesque white houses decorated with colorful flowers.

After lunch, we will leave Grazalema and head to Ronda, on the way we will cross a very beautiful Mediterranean forest full of cork trees and oaks. Where up to this day locals still work with its cattle (Iberian pigs, goats, and cows), to extract honey, cork, aromatic spices or wood.

After an exciting morning, we will reach Ronda, one of the oldest towns in Spain. Ronda its unique for its surrounding nature and history. It is built on two separate cliffs. The town is connected by the most famous bridge in Spain, known as “The New Bridge” even though it was built in the 18th century. Our tour guide will take you around Ronda and tell you about the rich history the city holds. You will have some free time to explore the town´s beauty.

Such a great tour!
I was a little hesitant about booking this but in the end I’m glad I did! We made many stops on the way and the tour guide was talking almost the entire ride because he knew so many fun facts about the area that we were driving through.

I think we had the perfect amount of time to explore in each of the places we visited. 30-45 minutes in first two white villages which were really small towns. Grazelema coincidentally had a bull run on the same day we were visiting so we got to watch that and then eat at a Michelin guide recommended restaurant afterwards. It was a really long downhill walk to get into the town and it was great that our tour guide drove down to pick us up so we didn’t have to walk all the way back up.

We had about 2 hours to explore Ronda with a few tips for places with good views from the tour guide. (I forget the tour guide’s name now but I think it was Enrique?)

I got lucky with a great tour group because everyone else was super punctual at every stop so we never had to wait for anyone at any of the stops.

Simply breathtaking!!!!
Had an amazing tour on July 27th with Guido. He was punctual on our pick up time, super polite and friendly and we were so pleasantly surprised to have such a small group of only 7 people!!! The white villages were strikingly beautiful and we were so happy to visit a place we would otherwise not even known anything about!!! I would only recommend to maybe skip the olive oil factory and spend more time in Ronda. Totally recommend to book this tour from Seville.

Fantastic tour!!!
Miguel from Amigo Guides was the best! His love for this area was plain to see and he also had tremendous historical knowledge which he readily shared. The white villages and overall scenery and landscape are beautiful. Definitely bring a camera and keep it handy for Ronda as well. Incredible!I was a little skeptical about the olive oil tour when I read that it was included, but ended up loving it!! Lunch was delicious and we had plenty of time on our own as well to shop and explore after. This trip really immerses you in Andalusia. Don’t miss it.

Perfect day!
It was a really nice trip. I liked it a lot. Pieter the touring guide has a lot of knowledge of the area, what made the trip more valuable. The 2 hours in Ronda where enough to see the highlights.
