The Urique riding tour is available all year round and is approximately 4 hours long.
This tour gives a little insight of history surrounding the area of Alhaurin el Grande, The old Tower of Urique served as a lookout post for surveillance of the surrounding villages, overlooking rich citrus orchards as well as the fields of olive trees that make up the extensive and fertile Guadalahorce Valley, and involves a stop in a local venta where we can dismount from the horses for tapas and drinks (Not included in the price).

We do have riding hats available in case you forgot yours at home.
Our horses and tack are not suitable for smaller riders so we can’t take out children under 12 years and ask that younger riders should have at least three years’ riding experience and be at least 145cm in height.
Please beware, that a minimum of 2 people is needed to make a booking!

Departure from the stables at agreed time with ACS partner
- We leave right from the stables at the address below. If you want to come a little beforehand and help make the horses ready that’s a possibility as well. Otherwise be at the location 15 min in advance to avoid any delays.
Ride up Barranco Blanco
- During our ride through the area of Alhaurin el Grand. We’ll see the old Tower of Urique which served as a lookout post for surveillance of the surrounding villages. We’ll stop in a local venta where we can dismount from the horses for tapas and drinks.
Ride back to the stables
- On the route back we’ll finish off in the stables to brush down the horses, have a drink, exchange pictures and have a quick talk about the tour.
