Fuengirola means a lot to us in AdventureClub Spain as this is where it’s all started.
For us, Fuengirola is a good stable city, not too big, not too small.
Even though Fuengirola isn’t the biggest city in Andalucia or Spain, there is still a lot to do and experience. We have collected the most valuable things to see, try or taste, so you don’t have to 🙂
Street Markets: Markets (mercados) are a common sight in Fuengirola. They are always colourful, noisy and entertaining and an experience not to be missed, whether you plan to buy anything or not. The Fuengirola street market is among the biggest in Andalusia, where you can find practically anything you can think of. A variety of goods are commonly sold in markets, including food, flowers, plants, clothes, shoes, ironmongery, crockery, hardware, linen, ceramics, cassettes, carpets, and leather goods. Markets are the best place to buy the freshest vegetables and fruit, particularly that which is in season, so keep that in mind!
